What is the Rock ‘N’ Green Tomato Festival?

It’s the time for YOU to see what Miamisburg, Ohio, is all about. What once started as a small town is now a thriving hub for small businesses, community, and celebration.

Ron Holp (original owner of Ron’s Pizza and the Godfather of Miamisburg) and Jack Sperry (owner of the Hamburger Wagon) wanted our city to have a festival that showcases these great qualities and provides a family fun event for all to enjoy. Made possible by a complete team of volunteers and the MANY Miamisburg businesses who sponsor the event, we are excited to have this festival back for our third consecutive year at Riverfront Park!

With Farmers & Merchants Bank as our gracious title sponsor, we are excited to also announce we are merging with “RIVERBLAST” that usually takes place on Labor Day. What does this mean? All the fun of Rock N Green Tomato Fest and RiverBlast will be featured in this August event : Fireworks, FREE kids zone, and you can’t miss the ROCK in the Rock ‘N’ Green Fest.

We are keeping live music, drinks, and fried green tomatoes and fried green tomato sliders rolling the whole time for a rock ‘N’ good time!

The Festival is part of a 501(c)(3) organization, the Miamisburg Community Foundation, which focuses on providing charitable, cultural, environmental, and recreational opportunities for the Miamisburg community. Ten percent of the festival's profits go to the foundation.

Our dunk tank operates as a fundraiser for Miamisburg sports teams. They pay nothing and keep all the proceeds. Last year, the Miamisburg High School Ladies Basketball Team and Children’s Performing Arts of Miamisburg crushed it! We are excited for them to return in 2026!

Our 50/50 raffle will fundraise money for a new annual scholarship we are offering in honor of Ron Holp. This scholarship will be awarded to a Miamisburg High School Senior who positively impacts the community (just like Ron did!)
